Ellsworth Adhesives to Showcase Latest Solutions at MD&M Minneapolis
October 12, 2015 | Ellsworth AdhesivesEstimated reading time: 3 minutes

Ellsworth Adhesives, a global distributor of adhesives, specialty chemicals and dispensing equipment, is pleased to announce that they will be exhibiting at the Medical Device and Manufacturing (MD&M) trade show, part of Minnesota Medtech Week, in booth #736 November 4th through the 5th at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minnesota.
Ellsworth Adhesives is displaying the latest technology of adhesives and dispensing equipment for the medical device engineering and design industry. Jay Richardson, Director of Sales, commented, “We are thrilled to be exhibiting at MD&M once again. There have been multiple advancements in the adhesive and specialty chemical industry that can benefit many of the attendees at this conference. Ellsworth Adhesives is ready to provide the total solution when it comes to adhesives, dispensing and other specialty chemicals. Our Engineering Sales Representatives are available at the show to answer any questions on new projects, products and applications.”
One of the newest products Ellsworth Adhesives will be highlighting is LOCTITE® 4902 from Henkel, the first truly flexible cyanoacrylate adhesive that still preserves the fast cure speed and high bond strength associated with cyanoacrylates. With elongations over 100% and fixture speeds under 10 seconds, this adhesive is excellent for plastic, rubber and metal bonding applications found in medical items like connections, medical tubing and catheters. This product is ISO 10993 Biocompatible for the assembly of medical devices.
In the dispensing department, Ellsworth Adhesives is showcasing the new DC200 from Fisnar. It is a digital dispenser and valve controller for easily dispensing more viscous materials. It features a large internal air solenoid, perfect for applications that require immediate and fast reaction or de-pressurization like collapsible toothpaste-type tube, caulking, cartridge reservoirs, valves and rotary table operations.
This year, UBM Canon’s MD&M Minneapolis and LifeScience Alley’s Health Technology Leadership Conference, the two foremost Medtech events in Minnesota, have partnered to launch one combined, focal event at the center of Minnesota Medtech Week—a celebration of the industry’s best technologies. The Minnesota region is a global leader in medical manufacturing and innovation, home to some of the largest manufacturers as well as exciting startups.
Through their wide variety of value-added services, Ellsworth Adhesives aims to fulfill specialty chemical needs, from initial technical advice through customized product fulfillment. They strive to help their customers achieve maximum productivity with lower total cost in their manufacturing processes by offering valued services and solutions, and delivering quality products from world-class suppliers.
