Ellsworth’s Cost effective Mixing and Degassing Machine
October 14, 2015 | Ellsworth AdhesivesEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
Ellsworth Adhesives Europe today unveiled the latest addition to its portfolio of dispensing equipment: The SK-300S table top mixer.
Manufactured in Japan by the well-respected Shashin Kagaku Product Company, the SK-300S is a ‘Kakuhunter’ brand product with CE approval. This brand new mixing and degassing machine is exclusive to Ellsworth Adhesives and offers consumers a cost effective mixing solution for two component materials.
The SK-300S bench top unit is designed to simultaneously mix and degas materials quickly and effectively. This versatile piece of equipment can process a wide range of materials – from low viscosity to high viscosity – each time delivering uniform dispersion.
Easy to operate, the SK-300S has a designated operational panel with different settings and functions that can be adjusted to suit user requirements. Revolution and rotation speeds can be set individually as part of the mix programme, while balance navigation can be increased to suit a heavier material and decreased to suit lighter materials. The SK300S even has a heat spreader to dissipate heat away from mixing motor assembly and its cup tray is positioned at an angle that provides maximum mixing capability.
In addition to these practical functions, the SK-300S has several safety functions including an automatic stop button, ‘a top lid lock’ for when it isn’t being used and a ‘hold operation’ button to allowing the top lid to be opened if required. Users working in quiet environments might be interested to know that the machine operates with minimal noise.
Using a planetary mixer like the SK-300S has a number of advantages over other mixing tools and equipment. For example, users can expect to save time and effort, since the mixing and degassing process is complete in just minutes. Furthermore, the use of a mixing and degassing machine completely eliminates air bubbles from the mixing process, achieving a smooth end result. This makes this equipment perfect for materials requiring high precision mixing and degassing.
While mixing tools or other mixing equipment can sometimes breakdown the composition of the material, the use of a planetary mixer will help to preserve it. Additional advantages of a mixing and degassing machine include minimal wastage and avoids material contexture change due to thermal elevation of material.
The SK-300S is available to order at Ellsworth Adhesives Europe immediately. To make an enquiry about this exclusive product, please email infoeurope@ellsworth.com.

The Chemical Connection: When the Industry Moves Faster Than the Standards
04/29/2026 | Don Ball -- Column: The Chemical ConnectionAs a supplier of wet processing equipment, we have rules and standards we must adhere to, including both regional and national electrical codes and safety and environmental regulations, as well as myriad other standards to make the equipment safe to use. Things are a little different when it comes to rules and standards for manufacturing PCBs, though, because technical advances and requirements change so quickly that standards can’t keep up.
