Total PCB sales in Germany were down by 10 percent in August compared with the previous month, and down by 5.7 percent year-on-year, according to the ZVEI PCB and Electronic Systems. The downturn was mainly due to the holiday period. Cumulative sales for the first eight months of the year were 3.8 percent lower compared to the same period last year.
Order intake, meanwhile, was 12 percent lower than in July, and 8.8 percent less compared to August 2014. Book-to-bill ratio reached 0.97.
