Winchester, November 2015 - Cupio has recently won Nordson Yestech’s Outstanding Service award for 2015. The award was presented by Richard Frisk, European Sales Manager of Nordson Test and Inspection Group at the annual Representatives’ Meeting held in October at the Group’s headquarters in Aylesbury, UK.
Cupio received the award in recognition of their 10 years of outstanding service to Yestech while setting up the European sales and support operation which has now been transferred to Nordson. Working with Yestech from 2005, before it was part of the Nordson Corporation, Cupio established a chain of representatives covering the EMEA countries. During that period more than 250 AOI systems were sold into the area, all with European based training and support. At the end of September 2015 the representative channel transferred to the support and sales organisation within Nordson.
Going forward, Cupio will continue to build on the AOI and AXI experience they have accrued and on the strength of their relationship with Nordson Yestech. They will do so within their new role as UK distributor rather than covering the entire European region as previously.
“We truly appreciate the sustained effort and support that Cupio has contributed over the years, and this is reflected in the award” commented Richard Frisk, “their hard work has been highly effective, as is now amply demonstrated by our established presence and reputation in the European region. We look forward to our ongoing relationship with Cupio as we continue to promote, sell and support our inspection systems throughout the UK.”
Andy Bonner, CEO of Cupio, shares this enthusiasm: “We have certainly put in the effort and commitment to Nordson Yestech over the period of our relationship, but our task has been made easier by the innovation, competitiveness and quality built into the Yestech automated inspection products, coupled with the support we ourselves have enjoyed from the organisation. Like Richard, we anticipate many more years of supplying Nordson Yestech solutions into the UK – to the benefit of all parties concerned.”
