Metcal Picks Up Its Third Award for the Scarab Site Cleaning System at productronica

Metcal today announced that it was awarded a 2015 Global Technology Award in the category of Rework & Repair Equipment for its Scarab Site Cleaning System (APR-2000-SCS). The award was presented to the company during a Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 ceremony that took place at the Messe München exhibition center in Munich, Germany during productronica.
This marks Metcal’s third award for the Scarab since its introduction this year. “We are very pleased to accept the Global Technology Award for the Scarab Site Cleaning System,” commented Bryan Gass, Global Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Since the Scarab was introduced earlier this year, it has been enthusiastically received at our seminars and trade show events around the world.”
The Scarab ensures accurate and repeatable cleaning of the component pad in one user-friendly system. It redefines performance and addresses the technical demands presented by component manufacturers today. Additionally, the Scarab addresses the industry needs with an automated system capable of cleaning components pads without contact.
