SVI to Acquire Austria-based Electronics Assembler

The Board of Directors of Thailand-based SVI Public Co. Ltd—an electronics manufacturing service (EMS) provider)—has approved its subsidiary, SVI Public (HK) Ltd, to acquire a company incorporated in Austria to support SVI's business.
The Austria-based company, the name of which is in process of reservation, assembles electronics products, computers and PCBs, including relevant spare parts and tooling. It is also involved with the sourcing and procurement of electronics parts, and designing of electronics products.
