Europlacer Heads into 2016 with a Major Milestone

Europlacer became a division of Parable Trust Ltd. in 2013. The company has been developing machines for SMT electronics assembly since the 1970s and invented the intelligent feeder concept in the 1980s. After acquisition by Blakell Europlacer in 1991, the company moved away from split-axis to the inherently more capable X-Y architecture that underpins the company’s pick-and-place machines today.
Europlacer’s policy has been to ensure wherever possible that technology purchased many years ago, especially feeders, remain compatible with the latest pick-and-place equipment. Over the years, Europlacer has been awarded numerous prestigious industry awards for innovation and best-in-class technology which serve as testament to Europlacer’s innovative capabilities and seamless implementation of high-mix productivity tools.
Europlacer Americas’ recently completed the move into a new facility that is nearly double the size of the previous location and features a walk-in product demonstration/training center, including: off-line program/package creation, automated component storage/material traceability, electrical test verification, item-level traceability, multi-functional capability; including VLB, odd-form and SMT connectors.
