His technical capabilities cover a broad range of related chemistries, including benzoxazine and phenolic resins for high-temperature applications; epoxy, epoxy meth/acrylate, urethane meth/acrylate, silane terminated polymer, polyurethane and unsaturated polyester systems. Alistair is an expert in vinyl ester resin systems and is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Commenting on his new role, Alistair said: “It’s an exciting time to join Electrolube, as the company seeks to strengthen its divisional technical teams. I get a keen sense of the company's ambition to become a major global player in this industry and I look forward to heading up a superb team of experts within the Resins Division, and with whom I hope to develop innovative new products for existing and prospective customers."
Ron Jakeman, Group Managing Director of Electrolube, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Alistair to our team as we continue to invest in providing the market with the very latest advances in resin and encapsulation technologies. Alistair’s extensive experience and in-depth knowledge will undoubtedly strengthen Electrolube’s position and credibility within one of our key product groupings.
