Electrolube Appoints Alistair Little to Head Up Resins Division

Electrolube, the manufacturer of specialist chemicals for the electronics, automotive and industrial manufacturing industries, has announced the appointment of Alistair Little as Global Business / Technical Director for the Resins Division. He will take up his position at the beginning of January 2016.
The appointment represents an important strategic move for Electrolube, as the company continues to strengthen its expert teams across each of its divisions. Alistair will progress the development of the encapsulation projects handled by the company and will work closely with both the Worldwide and European specific teams on new opportunities. A team of chemists will work alongside Alistair to develop innovative resin and encapsulation solutions that will enhance Electrolube’s position as a key global supplier.
Alistair joins Electrolube from Gurit (UK) where he held a senior development position. He has extensive experience of working within ISO 9000, 14001 and 18001 accredited systems and an exemplary track record of leading teams involved in the development of new adhesives and sealants, based on two-component formulations for the civil engineering and transport industries.
His technical capabilities cover a broad range of related chemistries, including benzoxazine and phenolic resins for high-temperature applications; epoxy, epoxy meth/acrylate, urethane meth/acrylate, silane terminated polymer, polyurethane and unsaturated polyester systems. Alistair is an expert in vinyl ester resin systems and is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Commenting on his new role, Alistair said: “It’s an exciting time to join Electrolube, as the company seeks to strengthen its divisional technical teams. I get a keen sense of the company's ambition to become a major global player in this industry and I look forward to heading up a superb team of experts within the Resins Division, and with whom I hope to develop innovative new products for existing and prospective customers."
