In recognition of their significant contributions of time, talent and ongoing leadership in IPC and the electronics industry, two long-time IPC volunteers were presented with an IPC President’s Award at IPC APEX EXPO 2016. The award recipients were: Pierre-Jean Albrieux of IFTEC and David Raby of STI Electronics, Inc.
Albrieux was recognized for his efforts in shaping IFTEC into a leading and model IPC Training and Certification Center and Distributor in Western Europe, growing IPC membership in France and promoting IPC services to industry.
Raby was honored for his contributions, leadership, and dedicated support of IPC’s Validation Services program, training and certification programs and government relations advocacy efforts.
"IPC and the entire electronics industry are fortunate to have these dedicated individuals volunteer their time and expertise to IPC standards, program development and advocacy efforts," said John Mitchell, IPC president and CEO. "Their work has enriched both the industry and IPC. I am thankful for their dedication and hard work."
