Libra Industries’ Program Manager Earns Coveted CEPM Status
May 2, 2016 | Libra IndustriesEstimated reading time: 1 minute

Libra Industries, a privately held electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, is pleased to announce that Bruce McKee, Program Manager, has earned his EMS program manager certification, under the IPC EMS Program Manager Training and Certification program. McKee earned his Certified Electronics Program Manager (CEPM) status after successfully completing the program’s series of courses, passing a final certification exam and satisfying work experience time requirements.
McKee has been with Libra Industries for more than 20 years and has gained valuable experience in his time with the company. The coveted CEPM certification will better equip him to identify key issues that are important to Libra Industries’ OEM customers and apply successful problem-solving techniques to specific EMS situations.
The training program, developed with input from the IPC EMS Management Council, teaches and tests on specific skills for EMS program managers such as operations, finance, contract, and time management and leadership skills. The comprehensive training program is designed for experienced managers, new managers and managers in training within the EMS industry and is broken into four segments: Introduction to EMS Training and Program Management; EMS Training I (self-study/Internet based); EMS Training II; and EMS Leadership Training.
McKee holds an Associate’s degree in Business Management from Lakeland Community College. In addition to his CEPM, he has completed four APICS Classes and holds various Lean Manufacturing Certificates.
Libra Industries continues to invest to provide customized manufacturing solutions to help make its customers more competitive and improve their profitability.
