Cobham Selected to Participate in $7.2B Electronics IDIQ Contract

Cobham, a global supplier of standard HiRel ICs along with electronic manufacturing services (EMS), has been awarded a position on the Advanced Technology Support Program IV (ATSP4) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract from the Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA). ATSP4 is a multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle with a maximum ceiling value of $7.2 billion. The ATSP4 program is designed to resolve problems with obsolete, unreliable, unmaintainable, underperforming, or incapable electronics hardware and software through development of advanced technology insertions and applications to meet the requirements of the Department of Defense for a quick reaction capability.
“Through the application of advanced technologies and sophisticated engineering techniques, this contract vehicle will allow many of our customers to add new capabilities, improve operational readiness, and enhance performance,” said Jill Kale, President of Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions. “We look forward to bringing the full breadth of our advanced electronics portfolio to this vehicle in a way that benefits all our customers.”
Radiation hardened electronics component and subsystem design, manufacturing, and testing are among the capabilities that Cobham brings to the program. The ATSP4 contract will be operated by Aeroflex Colorado Springs, Inc. dba Cobham Semiconductor Solutions, part of the Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions sector.
