Essemtec Brings on Captec to Back Continued Growth in Northern CA and NV

Essemtec, the Swiss manufacturer of production systems for electronic assembly and packaging, today announced that Captec now represents its products in Northern California and Nevada. The Swiss-based company has expanded its North American sales network to back its continued growth.
“By adding Essemtec’s innovative SMT assembly and storage systems to its line of products, Captec demonstrates its commitment to represent the latest technologies from worldwide leading suppliers to the electronics and micro-assembly industries,” says Kevin McClay, President of Captec. “Essemtec is committed to new product development and specializes in flexible and sophisticated machines targeted to the rapid changeover and prototype environments. They offer unique platforms that combine pick-and-place with fluid dispense and feature solutions for 2.5D and 3D electro-mechanical assembly, LED panels, chip packaging, MEMS sensors, and other complex micro devices.
Captec’s mission is to provide capital equipment, supplies and technologies to the electronic manufacturer via representation of high quality, technically differentiable products. Captec provides professional sales and service support for those products.
