Libra Industries’ Production Manager Successfully Completes Ongoing DEK Training

Libra Industries, a privately held electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, is pleased to announce that Joel Wolnik has completed his DEK training. Wolnik completed the Machine Maintenance Foundation (Micron Class), which is comprised of five modules that can be taught together or individually.
The modules combine to provide the technician with the following skills:
- Understand basic programming to help differentiate between machine and process faults
- Recover from machine electrical and software faults
- Perform machine critical settings and associated calibrations
- Perform preventive maintenance routines
- Test machine accuracy and return to factory standard
DEK offers a wide range of training courses, each designed to help customers get the most out of their technology, process and operators. All courses are run by highly experienced and qualified members of the DEK team and can be tailored to match precise needs and objectives.
As Libra Industries’ production manager, Wolnik has worked for the company for more than 20 years in various roles, including IT Manager and SMT Supervisor. Wolnik manages Libra Industries’ low-volume, high-mix shop order environment; high focus on associate training and development. The execution of manufacturing schedules is completed in Libra Industries’ modern facilities with state-of-the-art surface mount, optical inspection, selective solder, coating, test and integrated assembly equipment.
