Lite-On Technology Reports Consolidated Sales of NT$17.44B in May

Lite-On Technology has reported May consolidated revenues of NT$17.44 billion, up 1.2% month-on-month and 4% year-on-year. Cumulative sales from January to May totaled NT$84.48 billion.
The Optoelectronics business segment, which accounted for 25% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue in May, enjoyed a revenue growth of approximately 40% YoY, mainly driven by increased demands in LED vehicle lighting.
The Information Technologies business segment, which accounted for 49% of sales, grew by 4% on-year. Of which, cloud computing application products posted continuous revenue growth year-on-year, driven by delivery expansion of server and networking power management systems and high-end server enclosures.
Meanwhile, the Multi-Function Peripherals division achieved a revenue growth of about 40% YoY, thanks to shipment increases from its laser models. The Storage business segment, meanwhile, was up over 30% from last year.
