Electrolube Extends Reach into North American Markets
June 15, 2016 | ElectrolubeEstimated reading time: 3 minutes
In a strategic move to extend its market reach into the important U.S. electronics manufacturing sector, Electrolube has established a new distributor agreement with the US Midwest based company, Murray Percival. This development will enhance Electrolube's existing widespread US market coverage, which currently includes distribution agreements with major suppliers across the United States, including Fastenal and Hisco, among others.
The Murray Percival Company is based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and is a leading supplier to the Midwest's electronics industry, covering the States of Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Illinois. Founded in 1960, Murray Percival is a third-generation, family-owned business, supplying manufacturers in the automotive and wider electronics markets.
Initially, Murray Percival will be stocking key product lines from Electrolube’s extensive portfolio of conformal coatings, thermal management products, encapsulation resins and cleaning solutions - and the company will be supported, in terms of short lead time stock supply, by Electrolube's established Houston-based warehouse facility. This new relationship will draw advantage from the synergies between Electrolube's automotive-related industry expertise and Murray Percival’s established presence in the US automotive electronics-manufacturing sector. Electrolube is currently working closely with Murray Percival to establish its presence on the Murray Percival Company website, including download links to Electrolube’s brochures, and links to the company’s YouTube channel.
Phil Kinner, Technical Director of Electrolube’s Conformal Coatings division, comments, “Teaming up with Murray Percival is an exciting new development for Electrolube. Our latest conformal coating products have been created to address long-prevailing challenges faced by customers and following considerable investment and R&D resource, we have developed new solutions that directly address these issues. By working with Murray Percival, we aim to position ourselves firmly as a key innovator and supplier of technology-leading electro-chemical products to American electronics manufacturing industries.”
Electrolube’s USA Business Manager, Randi Gates, comments, “Murray Percival brings a wealth of extensive local knowledge and experience of the US target customer base; this complements our strategic objectives extremely well as we move forwards to expand the Electrolube range of specialist electro-chemical products. The US market represents a wealth of opportunities for us and we plan to optimize these with our new collaboration.”
The Murray Percival Company President and CEO, Murray Percival Jr comments, "We regard the Electrolube distribution deal to be a real coup for our business and a great brand to be associated with. We look forward to growing our stocks of specialist Electrolube products and establishing new markets for them throughout the Midwest.”
Electrolube’s Managing Director, Ron Jakeman adds, “The agreement with Murray Percival is a positive move as far as we are concerned, strengthening our position stateside and enabling us to penetrate key North American automotive electronics markets where, I am sure, our particular skills and experience will be broadly welcomed. Electrolube’s strong global presence as has recently been recognised with a major business honour from Her Majesty The Queen. This combined with our reputation as technical experts and brand leaders puts us in an excellent position to work collaboratively with Murray Percival.”
