API Names Michael Schwarm Global VP of Sales and Marketing

API Technologies Corp. (API), a provider of high performance RF and microwave signal conditioning and electromagnetic spectrum management solutions and electronics manufacturing services (EMS), has named Michael Schwarm as vice president for global sales and marketing.
Schwarm brings more than 18 years of experience serving global technology customers and was most recently vice president for business development for the Integrated Electronics Solutions business unit of Cobham Advanced Electronics Solutions. Schwarm also has served in various leadership positions with Antenna Research Associates, DRS Technologies and BAE Systems.
In making the announcement, API Technologies CEO Bob Tavares said, “We are delighted to welcome Michael Schwarm to the API Technologies leadership team. With his rich technical background and proven track record in sales management and customer engagement, Michael brings a truly high-powered skill set to supporting our customers’ requirements.”
