IPTE to Exhibit at electronica 2018
September 27, 2018 | IPTEEstimated reading time: 1 minute
IPTE will exhibit with an own booth (hall A3, number 565) on the upcoming electronica 2018 (November 13-16) in Munich, Germany. IPTE’s main focus at the exhibition will be “smarTEST Solution“. Due to that, efficient equipment will be shown—Fast test and board handling, 3D Vision check to verify pins in a connector and a battery charger/discharger for e-automotive.
Furthermore, IPTE is present at the booth of elowerk (hall A3, number 149). In this showcase a IPTE 19 inch multifunctional test handler (MFT) works in combination with an the circuit tester Z1 from elowerk, a speed optimized solution for test handling and in circuit test.
At the IPTE booth:
Two IPTE easy test handlers (ETH) with bypass transport in combination with multi magazine loader/unloader MLL 3P and MLU 3P (one of each) will show fast test and board handling. Thanks to the bypass transport of the ETH, conveying can be done while testing the boards. Due to this, the cycle time is optimized. In addition, this solution shows how versatile and fast the IPTE components can be used.
The 3D Vision check is used to check pins in connectors to see if all pins are straight, inline and have the right length.
E-mobility is gaining importance. This means also the need to charge and discharge batteries. IPTE will show an innovative contacting unit for a specific test system at electronica in Munich.

Study on Resonance Mitigation in Metallic Shielding for Integrated Circuits
07/08/2025 | Maria Cuesta-Martin, Victor Martinez, Vidal Gonzalez Aguado, Würth ElektronikInherent cavity resonant modes often lead to significant degradation of shielding effectiveness, responsible for unwanted electromagnetic coupling. Cavity resonant modes of the metal shielding enclosure can produce two adverse problems: the mutual coupling among different RF modules and shielding effectiveness reduction of the metal enclosure. The cabinets serve to shield certain components from electromagnetic interference (EMI). However, these cavities present some resonance peaks at 5 GHz, making it impossible to use them at higher frequencies.
