China PCB maker Shennan Circuits Company has reportedly landed orders from network equipment vendors such as ZTE and Ericsson for 5G base station applications, indicating its efforts in tapping the new segment are gradually paying off, according to a Digitimes.
Shennan saw its revenues for 2018 surge 33.68% on year to CNY7.602 billion ($1.13 billion), with its operating profits posting a much higher annual growth of 56.26% to reach CNY784 million. The company attributed the encouraging performances to stable revenue increases in the three major segments of PCB, IC substrate and EMS, with applications in communications, industry control systems and servers posting the most remarkable revenue expansions, Digitimes reports.
