Wistron Announces Q3 Financial Results

Wistron Corp. held a meeting of the Board of Directors. Following the meeting, the company announced the financial results for the first three quarters ended September 30, 2021.
The total revenue in the first three quarters was NT$598,630 million, operating income was NT$10,866 million, profit before tax (PBT) was NT$10,514 million and profit after tax (PAT) was NT$5,092 million, with EPS of NT$1.83. For the third quarter of the fiscal year 2021, revenue was NT$220,392 million, operating income was NT$4,448 million, PBT was NT$2,395 million and PAT was NT$827 million, with EPS of NT$0.3.
In addition to the financial results, the company has approved the following major items during the meeting:
- A capital expenditure proposal with a maximum amount of US$29.3 million at a newly established subsidiary, Wistron Property (Vietnam) Co., Ltd.
- A MOU to invest a maximum amount of NT$1.8 billion in Master Transportation Bus Manufacturing Ltd.
- A proposal to dispose of maximum 6 million common shares of Wiwynn through block trade.
