Operations Suspended at Taiyo Yuden Philippines

Operations are currently suspended at Taiyo Yuden (Philippines) Inc., the subsidiary of Taiyo Yuden in Lapulapu City, Cebu Province in the Philippines, amid minor damages caused by the recent Typhoon Rai.
According to the company, work is underway to restore the plant and infrastructure components such as electricity and logistics. Taiyo will make an announcement regarding an estimated time for restarting production.
