Absolute EMS, Inc., a leading provider of turnkey and consignment manufacturing services, is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed its 2022 surveillance audit for the AS9100 Rev D SAE International Aerospace Standard, again with zero findings. The company manages, controls and audits its own processes, in addition to having outside certification bodies verifying that its QMS meet the requirements.
Michele Mountain, Director of Quality, commented, “I am so proud to be a Senior Manager at Absolute EMS. AEMS is known for consistent quality and process control. The fact that we have completed our AS9100 surveillance audit with zero findings is a tribute to the team, hard work, process control and our commitment to excellence.”
This standard includes ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements and specifies additional aviation, space and defense industry requirements, definitions and notes. Absolute EMS continues to take the necessary steps to improve the quality of its products and services and to enhance customer satisfaction.
As the internationally recognized standard for aerospace Quality Management Systems, AS9100 is based on seven quality management principles: Customer Focus, Leadership, Engagement of People, Process Approach, Improvement, Evidence-based decision making and Relationship Management. Absolute EMS’ QMS is based on these principles.
Absolute EMS is a leader in end-to-end electronic manufacturing services solutions that help its customers rapidly introduce innovative new technology by facilitating speed-to-market in their marketplace. Speed-to-market starts with engineering services, and extends into prototypes, pilots and then into production.
A long-time commitment to sustainability contributes to Absolute EMS leading the way for manufacturing operations among EMS organizations.
