API Technologies Names New VP of Continuous Improvement

API Technologies Corp., a leading provider of high performance RF, microwave, millimeterwave, power, and security solutions, today announced that Domingo Isasi has been named to the newly created role of Vice President of Continuous Improvement for API Technologies, effective June 29, 2015. In this new position, Mr. Isasi will report to API Technologies' President and CEO and lead worldwide continuous improvement efforts related to delivery, quality, and reliability excellence, as well as drive cost-efficiency initiatives.
Bob Tavares, President and Chief Executive Officer of API Technologies, stated: "Fostering a culture of continuous improvement must begin at the highest level within an organization. The creation of this new role demonstrates API's continued commitment to providing customers the highest quality products, delivered on time, to specification, and at the best overall cost. Domingo brings 15 years of experience to the position and will be a strong asset to driving process improvements and cost efficiencies across the entire API organization."
Mr. Isasi is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and is a certified Master in lean manufacturing processes. Most recently, Mr. Isasi served as Director of Global Continuous Improvement for WEX, Inc. (NYSE: WEX), a global provider of payment processing and information management services. Prior to WEX, Inc., Mr. Isasi was the Director of Intelligent Quality at Inmar, Inc., a multi-national leader in supply chain technology and optimization solutions. Mr. Isasi was also the Managing Partner and Founder of TPM Partners, LLC, aNorth Carolina-based consulting firm that provided continuous improvement and business operational value capture to worldwide manufacturing companies. Mr. Isasi received an MBA from Wake Forest University and a B.A. degree from the University of Maryland.
