Premier EDA Solutions Ltd. has been appointed the ICD distributor in the UK and Ireland, and will also service the Europe-Middle East-Africa (EMEA) regions. “The award-winning company is very well known and established in the European EDA industry providing specialist software tools for companies involved in electronics design.” said Barry Olney, managing director of ICD. “I am extremely confident in their ability to boost the sales of ICD products, and to provide exceptional service to our growing customer base in the territory.”
“We’ve been running a comprehensive PCB skills training programme in the UK for many years,” said Philip Mayo, managing director of Premier EDA Solutions. “Being able to address high-speed design challenges is rising up the agenda for PCB designers. The ICD tools are a natural fit for us and our customers.”
Based to the northeast of Milan, Leading Edge Snc will be providing ICD sales and support services in Italy. “Pietro Vergine, co-president, has many years of experience with high-speed EDA tools, having served as an application engineer and manager at Mentor Graphics and Synopsys,” said Olney. “Pietro’s expertise gives him a unique understanding of how ICD tools can benefit the industry.”
Victor Truong, technical trainer and manager director of EDA Expert, will promote ICD products in France. “Victor also has many years of experience as an Altium Field Application Engineer. The successful company he founded, now provides distribution of PCB and FPGA design tools, and is a training center for Altium in Europe,” said Olney. “Victor’s high profile in the local EDA industry will also help gain traction of ICD products in Europe.”
