Jabil Circuit Inc. has released its Fiscal 2015 Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Report detailing the company's global SER strategy and performance.
This is the third year the company has released a SER Report, which follows GRI G4 guidelines. Highlights include:
- Receiving conflict minerals declarations from nearly 4,000 suppliers, achieving 94% of the company's goal.
- Reducing the total recordable injury rate — which includes all injuries and illnesses that require medical attention beyond first aid — to 0.25, a 15% reduction from Fiscal 2014.
- Impacted more than 240,000 colleagues, family and community members in Asia with critical health knowledge through the HERhealth program.
- Reducing emissions intensity by 4.5%.
"We've worked hard to positively impact the world in which we live and operate. As global leaders look to address climate change and increase resiliency Jabil is considering how we can contribute to those goals. We are committed to reporting on our progress and inviting stakeholders to partner with us to make a positive impact," said Eric Austermann, Jabil's vice president of Social and Environmental Responsibility.
