October 3, 2016 | MW AssociatesEstimated reading time: 1 minute
MW Associates President Megan Wendling has received the Councilor of the Year Award from SMTA China for the eighth consecutive year, as well as the Long Service Award.
The award was presented to Megan by SMTA China’s Abby Tsoi. Megan continuously supports SMTA China’s events as well as actively promoting SMTA China conferences, events and technical seminars globally and has done so for many years.
Megan’s role as Advisory Council member of SMTA China is to advise the chapter’s executive committee on proficiency matters as well as public relations for the SMTA chapters and council.
Megan received both awards because of her exceptional, consistent support of the SMTA. The awards are based on MW Associates’ contributions to the SMTA, including attendance at technical programs, support of chapter and/or national leaders, encouragement and support of participating members, and more over the course of numerous years.
“I am honored to receive both the Councilor of the Year Award and the Long Service Award from SMTA China,” said Wendling. “It is a pleasure to work with Abby and to help him promote the association and all of the events and activities that go along with it.”
Megan is the principal of MW Associates, a global all-electronics marketing and assembly consultants that has offices in Naples, Fla., Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.
