Foxconn Showcases SmartCity Platform at Taipei Exhibition
March 19, 2026 | FoxconnEstimated reading time: 3 minutes
Foxconn Technology Group announced its participation in the "2026 Taipei Smart City Show & Net Zero City Show". This year, the company will expand its exhibition at the Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, 4th Floor (Booth R1013 ) , showcasing a wide range of urban solutions covering smart governance, citizen life, smart healthcare, smart transportation, smart electric vehicles, and smart security. Through smart city application examples such as AI Factory , MODEL A , and Nurabot , visitors will gain a comprehensive understanding of Foxconn's latest achievements in smart cities.
Firstly, in the section on smart governance and citizen life, Foxconn showcased its "Next-Generation Urban Governance Model," which breaks down information silos, connects data, and improves government efficiency. This model utilizes the " CityGPT Government Agent System" to achieve a highly efficient human-machine collaborative governance approach. Simultaneously, Foxconn partnered with Gogolook to integrate Gogolook's globally leading anti-fraud database and AI identification capabilities into the CityGPT smart city platform, jointly creating the " CityGPT Smart Anti-Fraud Integrated Service."
In the smart healthcare sector, Nurabot, jointly developed by Foxconn and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, will demonstrate a medication delivery scenario in a smart city. Combining the NVIDIA Isaac Sim ™ robot simulation platform, the OVX ™ high-performance computing architecture, and the Jetson AGX Orin ™ core computing platform, it accurately simulates a hospital environment before deployment using digital twin technology. During Nurabot 's training, NVIDIA Physical AI technology is integrated to create a seamless blend of virtual and real-world smart hospital scenarios, ensuring the robot can perform tasks efficiently. Currently, Nurabot has been deployed in partner hospitals and is engaged in routine clinical collaboration.
In addition, adhering to the core concept of "patient-centered, hospital-oriented, and technology-bridged," Foxconn showcased in the exhibition area how the group, through its self-developed CoDoctor AI artificial intelligence-assisted diagnosis platform, combines the CoDoctor series products ( Pro , Home , Watch , Eye ) with Foxconn Health Cloud to create a comprehensive health care experience from in-hospital to out-of-hospital.
In the transportation and safety sector, Foxconn's " CityGPT Urban Transportation Network Safety Empowerment System" creates a scalable urban perception and decision support hub. Meanwhile, the MODEL A smart electric vehicle taxi-style version, which first made its debut at Foxconn Technology Day last year and has generated much discussion, will also be showcased at this Smart City Exhibition.
In the field of smart security, Foxconn has partnered with Tsinghua University to develop a digital twin simulation of emergency evacuation for electric buses in fires. This simulation enhances urban disaster response by mimicking large-scale crowd evacuation and emergency response scenarios. This research was supported by a grant from the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Industrial Development Agency. Meanwhile, Shin Kong Security will also showcase a next-generation smart security and space management platform developed in collaboration with Foxconn. This platform integrates AI behavior recognition, image analysis, and disaster prevention sensing technologies, providing customers with AI-powered smart site management through data-driven processes and iterative functional expansion .
Foxconn is showcasing its AI Factory (Modular Data Center) at this event. As the core computing foundation for building smart cities, it leverages industry-leading vertical integration capabilities and utilizes a modular data center model that allows for rapid iteration and accelerated expansion to provide a one-stop solution from L1 to L12 , laying a solid foundation for the establishment and operation of Taiwan's sovereign AI system .
The CityGPT smart city platform, from the perspective of platform integration layer ( PaaS ), serves as a city-level AI hub. Through large-scale language models and multi- agent architecture, it enables urban governance to evolve from simple "data observation" to "thinking and acting", creating a platform-first AI city foundation to comprehensively serve citizens, governments and enterprises. As a result, it has received a science and technology grant from the Department of Industrial Development, Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Foxconn's "Sustainable Operation = ESP + ESG " business equation was also showcased at this Smart City Exhibition. In response to the global demand for ESG solutions in extreme climates , Foxconn is working with ecosystem partners to build resilient cities. Sharp showcased its ePoster electronic paper posters, highlighting their zero power consumption and ultra-thin design, making urban governance more energy-efficient and intelligent. Hawthorn Technology, together with Hawthorn Cloud and Huanding Energy, exhibited smart building and building digital twin solutions, as well as an integrated, fully-equipped energy storage wall. Through digital twin technology, it accurately predicts energy consumption and intelligently controls temperature and humidity, effectively improving energy efficiency and comfort, moving towards a sustainable net-zero smart city.
