Matheson Tri-Gas and ATMI Expand Sub-Atmospheric Gas Delivery Product Line
November 22, 2002 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Parsippany, N.J. -- Matheson Tri-Gas Inc. and ATMI Inc. have added three new specialty gases to ATMI's sub-atmospheric safe delivery sources (SDS) -- Phosphorus Trifluoride (PF3), Arsenic Pentafluoride (AsF5) and Hydrogen Selenide (H2Se).
With these additions, the SDS product line now consists of eight gases.
Matheson Tri-Gas, ATMI's exclusive production and distribution provider for the SDS Gas Source, will also to manufacture, market and distribute the new SDS products. To help meet customer demand for sub-atmospheric gas delivery, Matheson Tri-Gas has added additional SDS Gas Source production capacity at its New Johnsonville, Tenn. plant.
ATMI's patented sub-atmospheric technology uses special materials that bind to specific gas molecules. This effectively converts previously high-pressure toxic gases into "no-pressure" materials.
Matheson Tri-Gas Inc. is a single source provider of specialty gases, bulk gases, gas handling equipment and high performance purification systems. For more information, visit www.mathesontrigas.com.
