Varitron Renews Corporate Agreement with Cogiscan
July 17, 2015 | Cogiscan Inc.Estimated reading time: 2 minutes
Cogiscan Inc. has renewed its corporate agreement with Varitron, under which Varitron will expand the use of the Cogiscan traceability system to its new plant in Hudson, New Hampshire.
"We started working with Cogiscan in 2011," said Michel Farley, President of Varitron. "We originally focused on implementing a factory-wide traceability solution at our St-Hubert facility. This was a strategic investment to attract and secure new customer contracts that required this technology. As a direct result of this investment, we acquired two new customers that resulted in a 33 percent increase in revenues. Our traceability capability also played a major role in securing a third new customer. In addition, the types of customers that require traceability tend to be more stable and more profitable, which means that this investment contributed both to the top and bottom line. This additional business eventually led us to acquire a new site in Hudson and the first investment that we are making at this new facility is the Cogiscan traceability system because we know that it will be the most important factor to bring in new business."
François Monette, VP Sales and Marketing of Cogiscan, added, "I am very proud of this announcement. Our business strategy is based upon delivering superior technology backed with superior customer service. We always appreciate getting new customers but to me, it is even more meaningful when an existing customer decides to extend their collaboration. This means that we have done a good job from day one by setting realistic expectations, delivering on our commitments, and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction over the long term. In a world where many large IT projects fail to deliver on expectations, I am most proud of our track record with our growing base of satisfied customers."
