Libra Industries Promotes William Redmon to Design Manager

Libra Industries has promoted William Redmon to the position of design manager. Based out of Libra Industries’ Dallas facility, Redmon has been with ACD, now Libra Industries, for more than 11 years.
Previously, Redmon was the company’s senior systems analyst. He is a self-taught hardware systems and code developer, and IPC Certified Interconnect Designer (CID). Redmon said, “I love my job because no day is ever the same. Each day I am presented with new challenges and situations, which really helps me stay focused and interested. I also enjoy being able to be creative on the job.”
Steve Schwaebler, Libra Industries’ vice president of operations, added, “William joined us back in 2005 as a quiet intelligent, eager-to-learn individual. He became the best PCB designer in the history of the company over the next 10 years. We have leveraged his self-taught wealth of IT knowledge and programming ability over this past year. His skills and dedication to the company will never be taken for granted. William’s return to design in a management role is exciting for all of us. We know that he will have a tremendous impact on shaping the future growth of our design team.”
