Cogiscan and Panasonic Partner to Enable the Connected Factory

Cogiscan Inc. and Panasonic Factory Solutions Company of America have announced a new strategic initiative in their long-term partnership. The new program combines both companies’ leading products to enable the connected factory, the cornerstone of Industry 4.0.
This new agreement is based on the Panasonic Total Solutions Program, which enables Panasonic to seamlessly integrate machine connectivity and other TTC solutions developed by Cogiscan. This technology combined with the PanaCIM® Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software enables a more complete solution for Panasonic customers.
“Over the years, Cogiscan positioned itself as an industry expert in machine connectivity,” said Brent Fischthal, senior marketing manager of Products & Solutions, Panasonic Factory Solutions. “They established their company as the neutral third-party vendor that works with all leading equipment vendors. As a result, they provide the most complete library of machine interfaces in the industry. This collaboration is an essential part of our strategy to provide complete factory software solutions, connecting any machine brand and model to PanaCIM for a total solution.”
