Lite-On Technology Reports October Sales of NT$20.55B

Lite-On Technology has reported October consolidated revenue of NT$20.55 billion ($652.7 million), up by 4% year-on-year but down by 8% from the previous month. Thanks to stable market demand, cumulative sales from January to October totaled NT$186.82 billion ($5.93 billion), up 4% YoY.
Lite-On’s optoelectronics business segment posted a revenue growth of 3% YoY in October. The IT business grew by 7% from last year, on the back of growing shipments of high-end servers, networking power management systems as well as high-end server enclosures. Revenue growth was also driven by ongoing market share gains in HIS (human input solutions – PC keyboards and peripherals) and delivery growth in laser models of multi-function peripherals.
The storage business segment, meanwhile, grew by over 10% YoY amid increasing demand from the cloud computing market.
