Lite-On Technology Reports June Sales of $642M

Lite-On Technology sustains its record revenue growth in 2018 with a June consolidated revenue of NT$19.64 billion ($641.9 million), up by 6% month-on-month and by 1% year-on-year.
Amid stable demand from core businesses, second quarter revenue reached NT$54.7 billion ($1.788 billion), up by 13% from the previous quarter and by 3% from the second quarter of last year. Cumulative sales for January and June totaled NT$103.2 billion ($3.37 billion).
Lite-On's optoelectronics business segment posted a growth of approximately 20% YoY, thanks to growing demand from invisible LED, ongoing market share gains in LED components, LED vehicle lighting, and shipment growth in high-end camera modules. The IT business sales went up by 10% MoM in June, while its storage segment grew by over 10% on month.
