December 9, 2016 | Richardson RFPDEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Richardson RFPD has expanded its distribution agreement with API Technologies, a provider of RF, microwave, millimetre-wave and security solutions, to include Weinschel brand products. API acquired Weinschel from Cobham in 2015.
The Weinschel brand includes a full line of attenuators, phase shifters, simulation instrumentation and RF distribution products. Richardson RFPD will now offer these products to its global customers, along with the full line of API standard, configurable and custom RF, microwave and microelectronics products that the company has distributed since 1997.
“The Weinschel brand has always been synonymous with engineering excellence and superior quality,” said Mike Valo, director, World Wide Distributor Sales, API. “Their products represent a dedication to innovative design solutions for performance-driven applications in the commercial, wireless, industrial, test and defence markets. Making these products available to global customers via Richardson RFPD’s worldwide sales channel means more engineers can leverage Weinschel products in their microwave and RF systems.”
The company has separately announced that it is giving away three autographed copies of the book Quartz Crystals and Oscillators. Written by Roman M. Cerda from Crystek, the book describes the characteristics of crystal oscillator design, including how to specify and select crystal oscillators. It also presents a variety of crystal oscillators and provides useful MathCad and Genesys simulations.
