Lite-On Technology Posts Record Sales in November

Lite-On Technology has reported November consolidated revenues of NT$21.34 billion ($662 million), up by 4% month-on-month and by 13% year-on-year. This marks the second monthly record high in 2016, amid stable market demand. Cumulative sales from January to November totaled NT$208.15 billion ($6.46 billion), up by 5% compared to the same period last year.
The optoelectronics business segment posted revenue growth of over 30% year-on-year in November. The IT division, which accounted for 48% of sales, went up by 7%—mainly driven by growing demand for cloud computing products, supported by shipment growths for high-end server and networking power management systems as well as high-end server enclosures. The storage business segment grew by 30%.
