Via Mechanics (USA), Inc. announces that BETZ & Company of Michigan City, Indiana has been appointed as their Sales Representative in the Midwestern and Eastern United States. BETZ & Company previously represented Hitachi Via Mechanics from 2003 through 2012. They will offer the complete line of Via Mechanics laser drilling, routing, and skiving machines, mechanical drilling and routing machines, precision measuring machines, and direct imaging machines to the PCB fabrication and related industries.

In 2012 Via Mechanics, Ltd. acquired the engineering and manufacturing facilities and the complete product line from Hitachi Via Mechanics, Ltd. when Hitachi elected to exit that business. In the intervening five years Via Mechanics has upgraded the product line and introduced some new models. All of their machines are designed and manufactured in the same facility in Kanagawa, Japan as Hitachi machines were. Besides offering new machines, Via Mechanics offers post-sale support, original spare parts, and in-house spindle repair service for new machines as well as for all machines previously sold under the Hitachi name.
