Murray Percival to Represent optical control in Midwest
April 20, 2018 | optical control GmbH & Co. KGEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
The Murray Percival Company has inked an agreement to represent optical control GmbH & Co. KG, a world leader in automated component counting technology, throughout the Midwest.
Vice President Mark Percival Sr. said, “We are pleased to be representing the optical-control line of component counting systems. The Murray Percival Co. prides itself with bringing equipment and materials that make assembling PCBs profitable for our customers. optical control is yet another example of a solution that will make our customers job quicker and more effective. It will allow them to do a job that typically takes hours in just minutes. Component inventory is a large investment for our customers so it is important to know exactly what they have in stock. Not having the correct components on hand can create costly line-down situations and extended delivery time.”
Exact inventory knowledge and permanent inventory is mandatory to increase productivity, for on-time delivery and an immediate reaction in case of bottlenecks. The entire SMT line is monitored, so monitoring and controlling inventory to run the lines is equally critical for the production process. The OC-SCAN®CCX.3 SMD counting machine simplifies electronic manufacturing work and gives exact, and precise control of inventory, and as a result, helps keeps lines running. The Murray Percival Company will represent this groundbreaking technology, effective immediately.
In 1960, Murray Percival Sr. was a pioneer servicing an emerging industry, one that has become a key component in the worldwide market of today's manufactured goods. The Murray Percival Company is now a leading supplier to the Midwest's electronics industry, offering thousands of products.
Today, The Murray Percival Company is includes Murray Sr’s three children, Murray Jr., Mark and Pam. The company is today managed by Murray Sr.'s three children, Murray Jr., Mark and Pam. And now representing a third generation are Murray III, Mark Jr and Matt. As a third-generation family-owned business, the company has evolved from a hardware provider to process enabler, delivering and utilizing cutting-edge tools and processes.
