Altus to Expand with New Headquarters
July 16, 2018 | Altus GroupEstimated reading time: 1 minute

Altus Group's success and growth continues with the announcement of a new purpose-built facility, which is confirmed to open in 2019 helping to serve its rapidly increasing customer base. A leading supplier of capital equipment in the UK and Ireland, Altus is outgrowing its current headquarters in Stockwood, Worcestershire, and has invested in a 404 sqm building in Redditch, which will be open in early 2019.
"We are delighted to announce that we will have a brand new purpose-built HQ to start 2019 in style," said Richard Booth, Altus managing director. "Due to the continued expansion of our client base, number of engineers in our team, and product portfolio; we have taken the opportunity to upgrade our facilities to better support our activities in the UK. It will help us serve customers from one large, efficient and centralised facility which is located logistically very close to the M40 for easy accessibility.
"Altus is the fastest growing UK electronics distribution business and we are proud to say that we will now have a location to match our current and future ambitions. We feel this growth is due to the unrivaled support we offer all of our partners and our investment in engineering talent.
"Further to the 'on the road support', the new facility will be focused around a fully kitted demonstration facility and training room in order to run thorough evaluations and training for our partners away from the distraction of daily production. We hope this will significantly improve our customer experience and level of product knowledge prior to installation."
With its long-term strategy for growth, Altus requires intelligent investments in both physical infrastructure and human capital to meet its plans. The larger premises will allow Altus to grow and increase its team of experts in the coming years.

No single country holds a monopoly on innovation, and no one company or country can go it alone. Electronics manufacturing is very much a global business, and this will not change, no matter how the tariffs and global trade winds are blowing. Whether you're a startup founder building your prototype, an aerospace engineer pushing the boundaries of performance, or a supply chain leader managing a complex global network, Chinese PCB fabricators have likely already touched your world.
