ISO 26262 is a large complicated specification. The focus of the specification is safety of the operator, passengers and service personnel. ISO 26262 covers the entire product life cycle of management, development, production, operation, service and decommissioning. The design process/flow proposed in this paper by Mentor, a Siemens business, will focus on the development phase and the production requirement aspects of the specification.

All art is process-oriented or procedural—a bold claim that many artists might take issue with. Still, painting with oil on canvas follows a process of building colors from bottom to top; watercolor on paper follows a different process. Learning a musical instrument follows a process, and building the skills to play music with others requires precise communication and a mastery of the song to be played. These are all procedural things.
When it comes to business-to-business (B2B) customer service, it is often the little things that matter. While many companies focus on the big things, they ignore the little "softer things" that really create a great customer experience. I truly believe that the higher the technology a company produces, the lousier its customer service. It's as if those companies producing the highest tech products feel they deserve a pass for the easier, always important but more mundane, aspects of customer service.
During DesignCon, I met with Amir Roy, vice president of business development for Imagineering. Amir discussed the company’s high-reliability manufacturing and focus on listening to the needs of their customers. Business is booming and Imagineering is adding new lines to increase capacity.

Arsaga Partners, Inc., Tokyu Land Corporation, NTT Corporation and NTT DOCOMO, INC. announced that they have agreed to jointly explore the development of groundbreaking telecommunication services using NTT's advanced all-photonics Innovative Optical and Wireless Network (IOWN).
Further to the announcement of 17 August 2023, BAE Systems has now received the necessary regulatory approvals and will be executing steps in the coming days to complete the acquisition of Ball Aerospace from Ball Corporation.
