Altus Increases its Knowledge Pool with New Staff

Following continued growth, Altus Group, a leading distributor of capital equipment, has extended its knowledge pool with the employment of two new staff who will work closely with customers to provide advice on the company’s innovative range of capital equipment.
Brian McKay has joined Altus with a diverse background of key industry experience in the electronics manufacturing sector in both the CEM and OEM space.
“Having previously worked in the capital expenditure and approval process, Brian has a great insight into the daily pressures of production and the key factors in new process evaluations, all of which help to ensure customer satisfaction is always at the forefront,” explained Mike Todd, Altus’ Operations Manager.
“We are very pleased to have Brian join our growing team with his set of skills to support our key customers across the Midlands region.”
Also joining Altus is Collins Kutsanedzie who will work with the applications team. Graduating from Birmingham City University with a degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Collins brings with him a wealth of knowledge in electronics. Anthony Oh, Altus’ Applications Manager said: “Collins will focus on our inspection portfolio. With his degree and experience as an ex- service personnel, Collins will bolster Altus’ capabilities through our inspection portfolio and provide another set of capable hands to our ever-growing customer list.
“As well as bringing all of those key attributes from his time in the forces, Collins will be first taking on responsibilities of our system calibrations to gain exposure to our customers.”
With its long-term strategy for growth, Altus, has made intelligent investments in both physical infrastructure with the opening of its new head office and high-tech demonstration facility, and human capital by increasing staff levels to meet its long-term plans.
