ASM Extends Special Offer for Time4academy Digital Training
June 3, 2020 | ASMEstimated reading time: 1 minute
ASM’s Time4Academy special offer for digital learning has been running with great success since March 17. It provides companies and users in the electronics manufacturing industry with free access to the company’s ASM Academy digital learning platform. Through the end of May, almost 3,000 new users have taken advantage of it to expand their knowledge around SMT production. Because of the program’s success, ASM has decided to extend the offer for another month.
By offering free access to its ASM Academy e-learning platform, technology leader ASM wants to provide proactive support to customers and partners by allowing them to use production stops and the time they are forced to spend at home to gain knowledge and expand their skills in the field of SMT production. The ASM Academy currently features more than 150 modules covering all areas around SMT production and ASM equipment. The offering comprises introductory videos, podcasts and webinars as well as technical modules with virtual reality technologies covering operations, applications and maintenance. In addition, platform partner Docebo provides 70 courses on other subjects.
Special Time4Academy offer extended
“Since the start of this program, almost 3,000 new users have registered for the ASM Academy. This shows how much people appreciate our offer in these difficult times and that digital learning is becoming more and more popular. For these reasons, ASM has decided to extend the program for another month. The contents of the ASM Academy will therefore be available through July 16 at no charge,” explains Jim Leather, head of service product management at ASM SMT Solutions.
Users love it
The positive feedback from many users proves the usefulness of the platform's contents. To quote just one customer: “ASM’s online training is a great help in my work. Many modules feature 3D animations or virtual-reality components that don't just create a highly successful learning environment because it is so realistic, but are actually fun.”
You can still register
Interested users can register without any further obligations here. When the free period expires, users don't need to do anything – the accounts will be deleted automatically.
