Balver Zinn Group Mourns Loss of Managing Director Gregor Jost
March 12, 2021 | I-Connect007Estimated reading time: 1 minute

It is with deep sorrow that Balver Zinn Josef Jost GmbH & Co. KG says goodbye to its managing director, Dipl.-ing. Gregor Jost.
“After a long, serious illness, which he endured with great courage and willpower, Gregor Jost lost his battle on March 9, 2021, at the age of 56,” the company said in a statement.
Gregor managed the fortunes of the Balver Zinn Group with his brother Josef. They are the third generation to run the company.
After graduating from technical college, specializing in chemistry, Gregor successfully completed the metallurgical engineering and foundry technology course in 1987 and, as a graduate engineer, he joined the family company, Balver Zinn, where he was mainly responsible for the development of the production facility.
“His voice is silent now, but the memory of his tireless work, which was characterized by passion, great dedication and personality, will live on forever,” the company said in its statement. “We are losing a valued, caring boss, good friend and advisor. Nothing and no one can fill this void. We will miss him very much with his courage and his enjoyment for life. We will always honorably remember him.”
They finished their remarks, “We say goodbye to Gregor in gratitude with one last ‘Glückauf!’”
Gregor is survived by his wife, Susana, and their children.
Jost Group is headquartered in Balve, Germany. The company manufactures solders, high-quality anodes, alloys and wires for the electronics industry and surface refinement applications.
