At DesignCon, the I-Connect007 Editorial Team met with Brad Griffin, product marketing group director for the System Analysis Group at Cadence Design Systems. Brad explains how this analysis tool enables designers to address SI and PI issues early in the design process, before they become costly errors, and why he believes his late co-worker Dennis Nagel would be proud to see his efforts come to fruition.
When I learned that this issue would be dedicated to optimizing the bare board fabricator’s experience at the IPC APEX EXPO 2024, I thought it would be an easy column to write. With more than 40 of these shows under my belt, I didn’t think it would be too difficult to come up with a list of dos and don’ts to make your visit to an exhibitor’s booth worthwhile. So, what can you do to make your visit even more useful?

With this group of two seasoned industry experts and the voice of the next generation, we cover several topics, including AI, and some useful tips when considering equipment, especially in brownfield sites.
I am currently reading a great book by Will Guidara called "Unreasonable Hospitality: The Remarkable Power of Giving People More Than They Expect." It’s about customer service, my new favorite subject. Exceptional customer service affects not only the way your business is run but also what your customers think about you. It is a clear and sure path to success. I also learn a lot about customer service from TV shows. Here are my favorite tips.
There is something so authentic about Brian Tracy books and this one is no exception. 'How the Best Leaders Lead' is actually more of a manual on how to become a leader in a very short time. In short but cogent chapters, he explains what it takes to assume the leadership role in any organization or company effectively. This is a great book for everyone, and I mean everyone, whether or not they are leaders today. Don’t pass this one up!
