AGC Chemicals Europe, specialist suppliers in fluoropolymer and fluorochemical products, will be attending this year’s K Show; the world’s leading trade fair for plastics and rubber. Attendees can visit AGC at Hall 7a, Stand C12 during the event between 19 – 26 October 2022, in Düsseldorf, Germany.
AGC Chemicals Europe will market its services as the number one ETFE manufacturer, supplying Fluon® PTFE, ETFE and PFA as powders, resins, and films. Along with other products including solvents and refrigerants, the company will showcase the advancements in its line of modified fluoropolymers, labelled under Fluon+™.
Raw materials and auxiliaries are a prime focus for K 2022, with exhibiting businesses hoping to share their developments in polymer research towards goals of circular economy, innovative lifecycle thinking, and sustainability. AGC manufactures each product with the highest efforts to improve on environmental consequences such as global warming and ozone depletion, whilst optimising its fluoropolymers’ application and outstanding properties.
Fluon+™ mPLASTICS is a range of modified thermoplastic compounds including m-PEEK, which exhibits the same desirable properties as leading engineered plastics. These include:
- Improved impact strength
- Enhanced wear resistance
- Increased flexibility
- Advanced electrical characteristics
- Superior chemical resistance
Alongside its established Fluon® line-up, AGC will also be promoting its fluoroelastomer product range, AFLAS® FEPM and AFLAS® FFKM, which provide the ultimate performance under the harshest of conditions. These products exhibit outstanding chemical resistance and thermal stability at temperatures approaching 300°C, with grades specifically aimed at energy, semiconductor, and plasma applications.
Applications across the product range include wire and cable, sheets, films, as well as pipes and tubing, with the grades being processed through conventional plastic moulding methods like injection, compression, and extrusion. With exceptional results, AGC Chemicals Europe delivers valued performance with fresh, innovative advancements to fluoropolymer manufacture.
Dirk Halens of AGC Chemicals Europe said: “K 2022 is an exciting opportunity to share our developments in fluoropolymer and fluorochemical production within a network of industry experts, manufacturers, and suppliers. Fluon+™will showcase our enhanced material science to the convention for plastic and rubber polymer research.”
