The Test Connection’s Bert Horner will be presenting "The Basics of Setting Up a Successful Test Strategy" at the upcoming PCB Carolina show on November 9.
Testing is a vital part of circuit card assembly. Without proper testing, an entire printed circuit board lot can come to you flawed in more ways than one. Having your product fail in the field is the wrong time to find out your CCA has flaws. Horner will speak to when to start planning and what steps should be taken to eliminate failure before your product reaches its destination.
Bert Horner is the president of The Test Connection Inc (TTCI). With a degree in Computer Science from UMBC, Bert followed his father, Bill Horner, into the world of test engineering. Bert grew up in the business, beginning at TTCi when he was a teenager. Over the last 30+ years, he has held many positions at TTCI that range from technician and engineer to business development. Early on, witnessing how some companies (good, strong companies) valued Design for Test (DfT) and spent valuable time planning their test strategies sparked his passion for DFT and measuring test solutions value.
To attend Horner’s presentation, visit PCB Carolina on November 9th at the ?McKimmon Center in Raleigh, North Carolina and be sure to stop by The Test Connection’s booth on the show floor for more information about their products and services.
