Technica USA, a solutions provider for electronics manufacturing, has recently participated in a series of technical sessions provided by worldwide leading PCB processing equipment provider WISE s.r.l. held over a two-week period in California.
As a major distributor for WISE, Technica led this recent effort as part of their commitment to arming their technicians with the skills and knowledge to best support the two company’s mutual customers.
The technical sessions took place in San Jose and Los Angeles and focused on providing up-to-date details on the latest WISE machine features and best practices. Sessions were led by WISE technical service manager, Riccardo Santini, who traveled from Italy for the training. As part of the training, class room sessions were held in addition to traveling to local customers to conduct hands-on training in front of machines in a production environment.
Frank Medina, President of Technica USA stated, “Technica and Wise intend to conduct similar training sessions over the next six months to instill a higher level of knowledge and understanding to our equipment service team. Similar efforts are being conducted with other product lines we distribute and we will be enhancing our support team with the hiring of additional software and hardware specialists over the coming months."
As part of WISE’s commitment to provide a high-level service to customers, Wise recently established an on-line inventory system for spare parts that links three strategically located warehouses intended to ensure fast and reliable support. These warehouses are positioned on the West Coast, the East Coast, and in Italy. The partnership of WISE, Technica and Photo Chemicals Systems anticipates this recently released inventory system to be even more enhanced in the following months.
Medina continued, “Our investment in service personnel, training and software tools demonstrates our continued efforts to be a major resource in support of our customers."
Technica’s ability to provide access to the latest products, as well as industry proven automation hardware and software required will enable us to assist our customers to remain competitive in today’s technologically challenged marketplace."
