Scanfil Suzhou Factory Receives Sustainability Award from Thermo Fisher Scientific

Thermo Fisher Scientific granted a Sustainability Award to Scanfil’s Suzhou factory at the APAC Sustainability Summit. This accolade highlights Suzhou’s dedication to sustainable practices.
The virtual Supplier Sustainability Summit for the APAC Region was held on October 22, 2024. Over 100 Thermo Fisher suppliers attended. During the summit, two suppliers were recognized with the Supplier Sustainability Recognition, and Scanfil’s Suzhou factory was proudly one of the recipients. This recognition underscores Scanfil’s alignment with Thermo Fisher’s sustainability targets and common values.
“We are glad to see that our work in sustainability is recognized by a key customer. When entering our factory shop floor, we have an online visualization of CO2 emissions, energy generated by solar panels and other key data visible to any visitor. It gives confidence to our sustainability development plan and that we move in the right direction,” says Christian Kesten, VP APAC and General Manager, Scanfil Suzhou.
Suzhou factory is honored by this acknowledgment and is committed to furthering sustainable practices in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific. The partnership between Scanfil and Thermo Fisher Scientific is founded on mutual goals for a more sustainable future. Both companies look forward to continuing their impactful collaboration.
