Delta Thailand Receives CSR-DIW Continuous Award 2024 From the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry

Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited, a global leader in power management and IoT-based smart green solutions is honored to receive the CSR-DIW Continuous Award 2024 from the Department of Industrial Works (DIW), under the Ministry of Industry. This award underscores Delta’s sustained dedication to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development.

On December 13th, Mr. Yongyuth Pakdoungjan, Senior Director of Government and Public Affairs, accepted the award at the Royal Jubilee Ballroom, Challenger Hall, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. The ceremony brought together industry leaders and government representatives to celebrate contributions to socially responsible operations.

Mr. Yongyuth Pakdoungjan expressed his gratitude, stating, “This award reflects Delta Thailand’s steadfast commitment to sustainable operations and positive community impact. Our focus on environmental initiatives, education, and community development helps us create long-term value for society and the environment.”

H.E. Akanat Promphan, Minister of Industry, highlighted the broader significance of the award: “This year, 585 factories have demonstrated their commitment to social responsibility, contributing a combined value of 250 million Baht to the nation’s development.”

In line with its CSR mission, Delta Thailand has launched several impactful programs, including:

• Environmental Sustainability Initiatives: Promoting energy efficiency projects and waste management to reduce environmental footprints. Programs such as solar rooftop installations, the Delta Energy Education Program (DEEP), which provides hands-on training and real-world experience, drive innovation in sustainable technologies. Additionally, an internal carbon pricing mechanism is implemented to further sustainability goals.
• Education and STEM Development: Partnering with schools to support STEM learning and inspire the next generation of technology professionals. Initiatives include Power E Lab, the Delta Automation Academy, and the Inspiring Innovation for New Megatrend 2024
• Community Engagement Activities: Supporting local events and initiatives that enhance community well-being and strengthen ties between Delta and surrounding communities. Examples include Delta’s Smart Farm and reforestation activities in collaboration with the Bangpoo Industrial Estate Office project.

The CSR-DIW Continuous Award recognizes businesses that consistently operate responsibly and meet high CSR standards. It acknowledges Delta Thailand’s proactive role in fostering sustainable growth and supporting local communities.
