Neways Achieves SBTi Validation for Near-term Emissions Reduction Targets

Neways Electronics International N.V. commits to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 54.6% by 2033 from a 2023 base year. Neways Electronics International N.V. also commits to reduce Scope 3 GHG emissions 61.1% per million EUR value added within the same timeframe.
These targets are aligned with the SBTi’s criteria for limiting global warming to 1.5°C, in accordance with the goals of the Paris Agreement. They reflect Neways’ ambition to decarbonize its operations and value chain while continuing to deliver innovative and sustainable electronic solutions.
Neways will continue to engage with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders to implement impactful sustainability initiatives in areas of circularity, engineering & design services, own operations and supply chain action. Neways will report progress towards its climate goals.
