October 27, 2025 | American Standard CircuitsEstimated reading time: 2 minutes
Anaya Vardya, President and CEO of American Standard Circuits/ASC Sunstone Circuits is pleased to announce that they have recently unveiled their 50th 77-second webinar.
77 Second Webinars are ASC’s answer to learning when you have little time. This series discusses a wide variety of topics related to designing and ultimately manufacturing your PCB in short videos that can be watched in roughly 1-2 minutes, or 77 seconds.
In regard to the webinar milestone, Vardya stated, “When we started this project a few years ago we never thought it would be become so popular. Now we have people seeking us out on YouTube to use our webinars to teach them about everything they need to know about PCB design, fabrication and technology in a bite sized format. Covering subjects from Flex Co-Planer to Micro Etch, as well as our now famous “Kitchen Sink” video that covers almost every technology possible on one PCB design, our 77 webinars have gained a momentum of their own. We may have just hit 50 but there are still more to come. Check us out on YouTube (American Standard Circuits) and find out what’s next. You’ll be amazed at what you might learn!”

Designing Without a Rulebook: When Engineering Becomes Innovation
05/05/2026 | Stephen V. Chavez, Siemens EDAWhat if the very rules that made you successful as a PCB designer are the ones now holding you back? This reminds me of walking the floor and attending sessions at both PCB West 2025 and APEX EXPO 2026, where one common theme stood out: More designs with traditional PCB “best practices” simply don’t apply. It’s not because they’re wrong, but because the problems we’re solving have fundamentally changed. In some cases, those best practices can actually limit performance. This is where PCB design moves beyond optimization and into something far more challenging: designing without a rulebook.
